House 156 Doong Na Soak Road is a 1970s villa on a large open property that was added to the AHL portfolio in 2006. House 156 is a tall and impressive structure facing an important street and it is perfect for an office. Unfortunately, the property looked dull and uninteresting and had not been properly maintained. A makeover was needed.

A lot of paint removal, new wood trim, flower boxes and outdoor lighting give the house a more powerful look that is well suited to a modern business image. With new three-phase electricity, the property can handle air conditioners in every room. The plumbing has been upgraded with an added pump and, for the first time in years, water actually reaches the second floor bathroom!

Property description

The building is located about 10 minutes from downtown, on Doong Na Soak Street, 800 meters from the red light at Rue Asien and about 1 km behind Park View Apartments and the statue of King Fa Ngum.

The building is set back from the street and has a large garden and parking in front.

The ground floor is one very large room, one small room that has an exterior door, and a bathroom.

The wooden staircase has a large window.

At the top of the stairs is a large landing suitable for an office space or TV room. Three good-sized rooms open off the landing. One of the rooms has a porch. There is a bathroom on this floor too.

A rear building is accessed via a covered walkway. It consists of two enclosed rooms (one previously used as a kitchen), a garage that could also be enclosed, a kitchenette, and another bathroom for drivers or outdoor staff.

A second garden, with space for a pool, is at the rear of the property.

Parking is available at the front, sides and rear of the main building. The property is fully fenced with a high wall and is secure for children and pets. It is well lighted. The garage will accommodate a large car.
